We are seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Technician for a 200+ unit apartment community.
This is a full-time role with full benefits. Compensation is based on experience.
The position is initially temporary (12–18 months) with the possibility of becoming permanent based on business needs.

Qualifications:
- Must live within 30 minutes of the property for on-call rotation
- HVAC Certification – Required
- 3–5 years as a Lead Maintenance Technician or 5+ years as a Maintenance Technician at a 200+ unit property
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience managing 4+ staff
- Strong skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, turnovers, and general repairs
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to meet physical demands, pass background check, and comply with a drug/alcohol-free workplace policy
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team while working hands-on
- Manage and complete work orders, unit turns, and preventative maintenance
- Perform repairs across multiple trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting)
- Coordinate vendors, inspections, inventory, and property standards
- Maintain maintenance logs, safety records, and equipment schedules
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to after-hours emergencies
- Ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality property operations

- Timely completion of work orders and unit turns
- Accurate troubleshooting and repairs
- Effective inventory and preventative maintenance tracking
- Clear communication with staff, residents, and corporate teams
- Consistently well-maintained property condition
