We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Baking Manager to join our team and help lead our kitchen with creativity, organization, and love for baking.
Position Overview:
The Baking Manager will oversee daily baking operations, manage and mentor a small team, maintain high standards of product quality and consistency, and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with professional baking experience and a knack for leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts from scratch
Develop and test new seasonal or specialty menu items
Oversee and train kitchen staff; create prep schedules and ensure team efficiency
Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
Ensure kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and compliance with health regulations
Collaborate with café management on production planning and customer feedback
Qualifications:
3+ years of professional baking experience; management experience preferred
Strong understanding of baking techniques, ingredients, and kitchen operations
Creative and detail-oriented with a passion for quality
Ability to lead a team and maintain a positive kitchen culture
ServSafe Certification (or willingness to obtain)
