Urology Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity in South Carolina

We are looking for a board-certified or board-eligible urologist to provide weekend locum coverage at a facility located in South Carolina. Candidates must possess a valid South Carolina medical license and be adept at managing high inpatient volumes and consults. There are no clinic duties associated with this role.

• Patient Volume:

  • Inpatient rounding: 18-36 patients daily

  • Consults: Approximately 10 per day

• Setting: Level II trauma hospital

• Schedule: 24-hour weekend call coverage, preferably the last weekend of each month

• Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Weekend inpatient rounding and consults

  • Pediatric circumcisions

  • Addressing same-day issues as a priority

• Experience Requirements: Prior experience in urology is essential; candidates should be comfortable with high patient volumes
