Locum Breast Imaging Radiologist needed

Our organization is in search of a Breast Imaging Radiologist to provide locum coverage in Tennessee. Here are some key details:

• Focus on Breast Imaging: This position is dedicated entirely to breast imaging.
• Work Schedule: A typical workweek runs from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break.
• Flexible Options: A four-day workweek can be accommodated if preferred.
• Tumor Board Meetings: Participate in tumor board discussions every Thursday morning at 7:00 AM.
• Imaging Procedures: Responsibilities include performing screening and diagnostic mammograms, as well as screening and diagnostic ultrasounds, Breast MRIs, and both 2D and 3D tomosynthesis.
• Preferred Skills: Experience with Breast MRIs and procedures is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Breast CT: While Breast CT was previously utilized for trials, it is not a requirement; however, proficiency in this area is a plus.
• Patient Volume: Each physician typically handles an average of 50-60 cases daily, which includes 20-30 screening exams and 20-25 interactions.
• Locum-to-Perm Opportunities: We are open to considering a transition from locum to permanent placement if you are interested.
