Job Overview – Primary Care Physician (Part-Time)
Compensation: $125 – $129/hour 
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (In-Office)
Schedule: Part Time, 15 hours per week

TAG MedStaffing is hiring a Primary Care Physician (Part-Time) in Pittsburgh, PA for our client, supporting patient care, clinical assessments, and treatment within an outpatient setting. This role focuses on managing a geriatric patient population, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and working independently within a collaborative care team. The position offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute in a growing and evolving clinical environment.

Responsibilities as the Primary Care Physician (Part-Time):

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations including medical history, physical exams, and risk assessments.
• Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions while developing individualized care plans.
• Medication Management: Prescribe medications and administer treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines.
• Procedures: Perform minor in-office procedures and manage routine clinical interventions.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and families on disease management, preventive care, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely patient records within the EMR system.

Qualifications for the Primary Care Physician (Part-Time):

• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree is required.
• Licensure: Active Physician license required
• Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience as a Physician is required, with comfort working independently.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in primary care and geriatric patient management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentation is required.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and adaptability in a changing environment are required.
