• 8/28 (7a) - 8/31 (7a)

• 24-hour call coverage, 7a to 7a shifts
\n
\n
• No in-house call required; response time to be onsite within 20 minutes
\n
\n
• Typically 2-4 calls per night with 1-2 expected onsite call-ins
\n
\n
• Approximately 1-5 patients per shift with an average of 2-5 inpatient calls per 24 hours
\n
\n
• Physicians are not required to remain on-site during night or weekend call but are required to round and discharge
\n
\n
• Average onsite call-back hours expected: 2-4 hours per day
\n
\n
• Rounding to be completed by locum provider on new admissions and any inpatient requiring rounding
\n
\n
• Common procedures include: kidney stones, consults on CBI, stents, hematuria management, and difficult catheter placements
\n
\n
• Patient consults and transfer/consult questions handled while on call
\n
\n
• General Urology experience required; adult urology required
\n
\n
• Ureteroscopy required; laparoscopic surgeries and nephrectomy preferred
\n
\n
• Board certification required; minimum certification level: certified
\n
\n
• Trauma Level 2 facility
