Physician Radiology-Interventional - Competitive Salary

DO;MD - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Provide interventional radiology coverage for daytime procedures and possible diagnostic reading


• Typical shifts are 7:30/8:00 AM through 4:30/5:00 PM


• No weekends or on-call coverage required


• Must be willing to work at both facility locations as needed


• Perform various ultrasound-guided procedures including liver, lymph node, neck, prostate, renal, and thyroid biopsies


• Conduct ultrasound-guided paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures


• Perform CT-guided procedures including bone, lung, and retroperitoneal biopsies and drainage


• Execute bone marrow biopsies and gastrojejunal tube exchanges


• Place and manage various access devices including PICC lines, nephrostomy tubes, and tunneled dialysis catheters


• Perform IVC filter placement, lumbar punctures, and nasogastric tube placement


• Handle tunneled Pleurx catheter placement for chest and abdominal applications


• Additional procedures may include lung and renal ablations, AAA endo stents, renal vascular stents, embolizations, IVC removals, and percutaneous gastrostomy tubes if proficient


• Perform IR procedures throughout the day with possible diagnostic reading between cases
