Become a vital part of a Lakewood, WA hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will perform inpatient, emergency department, and outpatient CT exams, administer contrast when indicated, assist with IV starts on day shifts, and operate GE Optima 660 CT equipment while documenting studies in EPIC and McKesson PACS.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT preferred).
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, including ARRT (CT) verification preferred.
• Washington state license required at time of submittal (MUST HAVE WA LICENSE AT TIME OF SUBMITTAL).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• IV placement skills required for day shift duties.
• Experience documenting in EPIC and using McKesson PACS.
• Experience working with GE CT scanners (GE Optima 660) preferred.
• Must provide own radiation badge.
• Department-specific orientation of approximately 2 weeks and 12 orientation hours will be completed.

Assignment Details:

• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift hours: 08:00–18:00 (4x10 schedule).
• Shift days: Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM (primary schedule). 
• Weekend/call: Back-up call coverage every fifth weekend; weekend call window from Friday 11:30 PM to Monday 7:00 AM.
• Orientation: Department-specific orientation approximately 2 weeks; 12 orientation hours noted.
• Charting system: EPIC.
• Float requirement: Candidate may be required to cover other units as needed within the hospital system.
