Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Tech will perform a wide variety of general sonography studies and assist physicians in obtaining high-quality diagnostic images for patient evaluation.

Daily duties include:

• Performing general abdominal, small parts, OB/GYN, vascular, and soft tissue scans
• Producing accurate diagnostic images using ARDMS standards
• Reviewing physician orders and patient history before exams
• Maintaining proper documentation within the EMR
• Working collaboratively with radiology and nursing staff
• Providing compassionate patient care during imaging procedures

This role requires a tech who can work efficiently, confidently, and with limited supervision during off-shift coverage.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent General Ultrasound Tech experience
• ARDMS required
• BLS required
• Experience performing all areas of general ultrasound
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Must live 50+ miles away from the facility
• No local candidates accepted
