Travel CT Technologist – Weekend Nights | Alabama

An excellent weekend-only CT Tech opportunity is now open in Alabama for an experienced technologist looking for a compact overnight schedule and maximum weekday flexibility.

This 13-week assignment offers three consistent 12-hour night shifts Friday through Sunday, allowing you to keep four full weekdays free while maintaining guaranteed hours. It is a strong fit for travelers who prefer independent overnight imaging workflow, schedule stability, and minimal disruption to the rest of the week.

Responsibilities

The CT Tech will perform high-quality computed tomography scans while ensuring patient safety and maintaining overnight department efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing routine and urgent CT imaging procedures
• Preparing and positioning patients appropriately for scans
• Operating CT imaging equipment accurately and efficiently
• Monitoring patients during imaging studies
• Communicating effectively with overnight radiology and clinical teams
• Completing EMR documentation thoroughly
• Following radiation safety and imaging quality protocols

This role is best suited for a CT technologist who is self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable managing overnight imaging demand.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent CT Technologist experience
• BLS required
• Strong recent CT scanning experience required
• GE CT equipment experience preferred
• Familiarity with multi-slice scanners preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Must live 50+ miles from facility
• No local candidates accepted
