Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR
• First time travelers accepted
• On call requirement: every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
• Must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases
• Work with adult patients, with preferred experience in adolescents and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
• Indiana license required and must be in hand prior to start date
• Two IR techs assigned to each room - one circulates and the other scrubs
• Perform procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
• Handle Level 1 trauma, Level 1 PE, Level 1 stroke cases
• Conduct vascular interventional and neuro interventional procedures including angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, and central line insertions
• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Call-in policy: missed shifts must be made up during pay period or added to end of contract
