Position Overview
Groth Pain and Spine is seeking a skilled and licensed Massage Therapist to join our professional wellness team. This role is ideal for a dedicated practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality therapeutic services, maintaining professional standards, and contributing to a positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide customized massage therapy services based on individual client needs and treatment goals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including intake forms and treatment notes
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with clients to assess needs and provide appropriate recommendations
- Uphold a professional, ethical, and client-focused environment
- Collaborate with team members to support overall operations and client satisfaction
Qualifications
- Current and valid Massage Therapy license in NY
- Certification from an accredited massage therapy program
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Preferred Skills
- Experience with multiple modalities (e.g., deep tissue, Swedish, sports massage, prenatal)
- Prior experience in a spa, wellness center, or clinical setting
