Job Summary

The Record Center Specialist is responsible for safely handling, moving, and organizing storage boxes and materials in a warehouse environment. This is a physically demanding role requiring frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing throughout the shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Lift, carry, and move boxes, bins, and totes weighing 10–100 lbs
• Load and unload materials using hand carts and pallet jacks
• Pick, process, and organize file storage orders
• Read labels and track materials using a handheld scanner and computer system
• Load boxes onto pallets and shrink-wrap pallets for shipment
• Operate hand trucks and material handling equipment safely
• Work on concrete and uneven surfaces and navigate stairs and ladders

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, squat, stoop, bend, and twist for extended periods
• Lift and carry up to 100 lbs without assistance
• Climb and balance on ladders
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday

Safety Requirements

• Must wear protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 safety toe standards
• Slip-resistant footwear rated “Better” or “Best” is required

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English
• Basic computer skills to track inventory and orders
• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
• Prior warehouse or material handling experience preferred

• 5 days per week
• 9-hour shifts including:
• • 30-minute lunch
  • Two 15-minute breaks
