Position Summary
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine physician to join our growing independent medical practice in Commerce, Georgia. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician with 2-5 years post-residency practice to establish themselves in a patient-centered setting while enjoying operational autonomy and strong community partnerships.
** Eligible for significant student loan repayment programs due to rural location **
Position Details
- Full-time, permanent position

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, evidence-based primary care to patients across the lifespan
- Manage acute and chronic diseases including hypertension, diabetes, COPD, and coronary artery disease
- Perform preventive health screenings, wellness exams, and health maintenance counseling
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; coordinate specialist referrals
- Maintain detailed, accurate electronic health records
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in continuous quality improvement and practice development
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
- Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
- Valid, unrestricted Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain within 60 days)
- Current DEA registration
- Clean NPDB report and references
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-5 years of clinical experience post-residency
- Experience in outpatient primary care settings
- Familiarity with AdvancedMD EHR system
- Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based medicine
