Forming Associate - 2nd Shift

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Forming Associate to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating forming equipment, inspecting products, and supporting production processes to meet quality and safety standards. Candidates must be willing to learn, follow detailed instructions, and work in a fast‐paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate machines that wind, shape, cut, bend, or form metal blanks to required specifications
• Position metal blanks into various presses
• Use foot pedals or push‐button controls to operate shaping dies
• Drill, tap, deburr, spot weld, or solder products as needed
• Measure parts using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators
• Operate taping machines and cut product to specification
• Record inspection results and complete required documentation
• Pack finished products into cartons and prepare shipping containers
• Weigh products to verify quantities and apply labels or stamps
• Rack, wire, or remove product for finishing operations
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Enter and maintain accurate production and inspection data
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers

Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of production processes and quality control
• Knowledge of safety procedures and compliance standards
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Willingness to learn, take notes, and follow instructions
• Continuous improvement mindset and attention to detail

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Standing for long periods
• Frequent bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching
• Ability to work in hot or cold environments

Job Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to read and write in English
• Dependable, self‐motivated, and eager to cross‐train
• Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required
  
  Pay: $17.50/hr. during training → $18.50/hr. after moving to 2nd shift
  Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  Overtime: As needed (typically Fridays & Saturdays, day shift)
