Senior Tax Manager

We are looking for someone to join our Winter Park CPA firm. We are a family oriented firm that focuses on a work life balance. Responsibilities:

• Act as the go-to resource for research, technical and reporting issues for clients
• Identify and assist with implementation of tax planning and tax saving strategies
• Represent clients before the IRS and state tax authorities
• Review Corporate, Partnership, Individual, Trust and Estate tax returns
• Manage multiple tax engagements and supervise staff
• Manage tax compliance engagements
• Review Payroll and Bookkeeping using Quickbooks desktop and Quickbooks online

Experience, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Active CPA certification
• 10+ years of public accounting experience
• Proficient with tax software such as Thomsen Reuters or similar. Proficeincy in UltraTax, FileCabinet, Practice CS is preferred.
• Experience with tax planning for business transactions, including shareholder transactions
• Significant track record of mentoring, coaching, training and developing tax professionals
