Requirements
- Provide compassionate resident care using the full nursing process: assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Document resident care and progress in accordance with facility standards
- Interpret diagnostic tests and incorporate findings into the plan of care
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to achieve positive resident outcomes
- Educate residents and their families on care plans and health maintenance
- Contribute to performance improvement initiatives that enhance resident care quality
- Current California RN license in good standing
- Current certification in CPR
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts
