Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• BLS required; CPI or crisis prevention training preferred
• Previous behavioral health or emergency experience preferred
• Strong assessment, de-escalation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage high-acuity crisis situations

Responsibilities:

• Provide crisis assessment and psychiatric nursing care
• Perform mental health and suicide risk assessments
• Monitor patient safety and implement de-escalation techniques
• Administer psychiatric medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with behavioral health and ED teams
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment and resources
• Document assessments and interventions in EMR
