Position Overview 

One of our Partners in Michigan is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician for a well-supported outpatient-focused assignment with low call burden and consistent scheduling.

• $450/hour equivalent (~$3,600/day)
• 2 weeks/month ongoing schedule
• 10–15 patients per day
• Minimal inpatient responsibilities
• Low call volume (phone-based)
• Strong oncology support team

Assignment Highlights

• 2 weeks/month (consecutive blocks required)
• 95% outpatient / 5% inpatient mix
• Low call burden (beeper call, mostly phone consults)
• No admissions required
• APP support for inpatient rounding
• Strong oncology infrastructure (tumor board, research, genetic counseling)
• EPIC / Oncology EMR environment
• HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission–certified agency
• Active member of NALTO

Job Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient Hem/Onc clinic coverage
• Evaluate and manage oncology patients
• Participate in occasional inpatient consults
• Take low-volume beeper call
• Collaborate with APPs and oncology care team
• Document in EMR
