Requirements
- Perform high-quality adult echocardiography exams including 2D, Doppler CW & PW to support accurate cardiac diagnosis
- Conduct 2D and 3D transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) studies when indicated
- Evaluate valvular disease, cardiomyopathies, congenital heart disease, pericardial disease and effusions with precision
- Document findings thoroughly in Epic EMR and maintain accurate patient records
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment such as Canon i700 and i900 to ensure reliable imaging
- Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses and the care team to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide patient-centered care and education, maintaining professionalism in personal scrubs/healthcare attire
- RDCS certification required (ARDMS or CCI certification accepted)
- Active AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
- Proven competency in adult echocardiography including 2D/3D imaging, Doppler CW & PW
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Comfortable floating to other departments and participating in on-call rotation
