In this role, you'll play a vital part in connecting residential and small business customers with the benefits of local community solar farms.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: As a Solar Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to engage with residential and small business customers in your region (DE, MD, maybe south NJ).
Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in solar energy and our community solar and other energy offerings. You'll be expected to articulate the financial and environmental aspects of the service convincingly.
Sales Targets: You'll have sales targets to meet, and your success will be measured by your ability to convert potential customers into enthusiastic community solar subscribers.

Qualifications:
- Sales Experience: Previous sales experience, especially in the energy sector, is a plus but not mandatory.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Self-Motivated: A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- Technical Aptitude: An ability to grasp technical concepts related to solar energy and explain them in simple terms to customers.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and evolving industry.
