Our client, a leading organization in research and development support, is seeking a Stockroom Analyst to join their team. As a Stockroom Analyst, you will be part of the R&D service support team supporting inventory management and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Stockroom Analyst
Location: Maplewood, MN
Pay Range: $21-23/hr
What's the Job?
- Review inventory levels for the Annex, Apparatus, and Chemical stockrooms to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Order supplies through SAP and manage inventory placement, including barcoding chemicals and other items.
- Learn and utilize the CHARM system to place chemical orders for R&D as a backup process.
- Assist in developing reports and perform additional duties as needed within a fast-paced environment.
- Engage with diverse customers and team members, demonstrating teamwork and cross-training capabilities.
What's Needed?
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in MS Office software such as Word and Excel; strong computer skills are a plus.
- Prior procurement experience is advantageous.
- Experience with project management or related activities is a plus.
- Ability to prioritize tasks independently and communicate effectively when assistance is needed.
