About this job
Become a vital part of a hospital team in Springfield, OR as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when required, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for inpatient and outpatient care. You will work under the direction of a Radiologist and follow departmental protocols to support timely diagnostic services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience. Travel experience required for travel submissions. No local candidates accepted. (Client requirement)
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program (JRCERT or equivalent).
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
- State licensure as a general radiographer in Oregon.
- BLS certification.
- Proficiency with routine diagnostic CT procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and CT-guided biopsy/drainage procedures.
- Experience with CT system operation, contrast media studies, and cross-sectional anatomy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with portable radiography, C-arm procedures, OR imaging services, and fluoroscopy.
- Prior travel assignments in acute care hospital settings.
Assignment Details
- Primarily mid-shift with a typical 12:00 noon start time or mid-day shift.
- 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
- Call required.
- Routine weekend shifts will be scheduled.
- Candidates may be expected to float to other facilities as required by the client.
