Salary: $120,000 – $145,000 annually (DOE)

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA) to support physicians in delivering high-quality patient care in a Pain Management setting. This role involves hands-on clinical responsibilities, including patient assessment, minor procedures, care coordination, and recovery support for a diverse patient population across acute and primary care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide healthcare services under physician supervisioPerform comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Treat minor injuries and perform procedures (suturing, splinting, injections)
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests
• Develop and assist with individualized care plans
• Prescribe medications and therapies per collaborative practice agreements
• Monitor patient response to treatments and adjust care plans as needed
• Obtain informed consent and assist with patient triage and referrals
• Prepare patients for examinations; perform routine procedures (vitals, wound care)
• Manage urgent and emergency situations when required
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams

Qualifications
Required

• Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Active New York State Physician Assistant license
• NCCPA certification
• New York Controlled Substance Registration and DEA license

Preferred

• Experience in Pain Management, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Acute Care
• Postgraduate surgical training or a minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• BLS and ACLS certification (DOT certification a plus)
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
• Bilingual (Spanish) candidates strongly preferred
