Manufacturing Quality Technician

Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Technician 

Location: 100 Nagog Park, Acton Massachusetts 01720

Shift: PM Shift- Friday to Sunday (6pm - 6:30am)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Quality Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced automated manufacturing equipment. This role supports production, ensures product quality, and contributes to process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment
• Perform basic troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance
• Monitor production processes using HMIs and ensure quality standards
• Maintain material flow and clear equipment faults/stoppages
• Use measuring tools to verify tolerances and product quality
• Follow GMPs, safety procedures, and production documentation
• Support process improvements, validations, and new product introduction
• Maintain cleanroom standards and organized work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma + 3+ years manufacturing experience
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with automated equipment and HMIs preferred
• Familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Ability to work independently and in team settings
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• Medical device manufacturing experience
• Cleanroom and robotics/automation experience
• Knowledge of laser welding, heat staking, or similar technologies

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged standing/walking (majority of shift)
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
