Requirements:

• Active RN license
• Graduate of accredited nursing program
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Previous perioperative, PAT, or ambulatory surgery experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced surgical environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide pre- and post-operative care in SDC, PAT, and ambulatory surgery
• Conduct pre-admission testing and surgical readiness assessments
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure proper documentation
• Monitor recovery, airway, and post-anesthesia status
• Administer medications and IV therapy as ordered
• Identify risks and ensure pre-op clearances are completed
• Educate patients on pre/post-procedure instructions
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and care team
• Document care and patient response in the EMR
