Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a current North Carolina Special Education teaching license
- Experience working with high school-aged students
- Demonstrated ability to support students with behavioral needs is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to students in accordance with IEP goals and district standards
- Develop individualized lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs
- Collaborate closely with support staff, therapists, and families
- Implement behavioral interventions and positive supports as needed
- Accurately maintain records, including progress monitoring and IEP documentation
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities
