Locums Critical Care Physician Assistant in Louisiana - No Call

CTICU locums opportunity in Louisiana near New Orleans with PRN night scheduling, no call, and transplant-focused critical care coverage.

Practice Setting

• Inpatient cardiac critical care environment
• Heart and lung transplant patient population
• Academic center with high-acuity ICU cases
• MD and cardiology resident support onsite

Schedule

• PRN night coverage with ongoing availability
• 12-hour overnight shifts
• No call responsibilities
• Option to pick up only select weeks each month

Cases and Procedures

• Vent management and intubations
• Cardiac critical care and ECMO patients
• Lines and bedside ICU procedures
• Adult-only patient population

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Critical Care experience
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
• Louisiana license required

Travel Accommodations
