Job SummaryCuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities- Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist.
- Operate GE Nuc Med equipment to perform various imaging procedures.
- Apply knowledge of radiation safety and Texas regulations to ensure patient and staff safety.
- Perform and document thorough and accurate patient assessments and treatments.
- Work collaboratively with clinical staff to provide optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in on-call rotations and assist with weekend shifts as needed.
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) certification required.
- Licensed by the Texas Medical Board.
- Experience with GE equipment and cardiac imaging is essential.
- Familiarity with Y-90 and lymphoscintigraphy procedures preferred.
- Proficiency with MediTech EMR and McKesson PACS systems.
- Self-motivated, efficient, and able to work well with interdisciplinary teams.
