Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients with a variety of diagnoses, including ortho, neuro, and general disabilities.
• Conduct 10 visits per day, adjusting interventions as needed based on patient progress and response.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans using the Epic charting system.
• Implement home exercise programs and educate patients and families on continuing care.
• Flex between outpatient and occasional inpatient care settings as assigned.

Qualifications

• Active LA State Physical Therapy License and BLS Certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in physical therapy, with experience in both acute care and outpatient settings.
• Proficient in utilizing the Epic charting system for maintaining accurate patient records.
• Experience with a wide range of conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation and chronic conditions.
• A commitment to teamwork and excellent communication skills with both patients and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, particularly in emergency situations.
