Job SummaryCuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cardiology Cath Lab Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities- Assist in the setup and operation of cardiac catheterization equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring detailed knowledge of each specific case.
- Monitor and document patient vitals during procedures, responding to emergencies when necessary.
- Support interventional radiology by assisting physicians during diagnostic and treatment procedures.
- Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols at all times.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for evenings and weekends.
- Valid RN certification is required.
- Experience working with Philips equipment and Meditech EMR.
- Previous experience in a cath lab setting, including interventional radiology.
- Strong interpersonal skills suitable for a team-oriented, patient-focused environment.
- Flexibility to operate in a dynamic clinical environment with variable scheduling needs.
