Job SummaryCuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Radiation Therapist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities- Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist.
- Maintain accurate patient records and properly document each treatment session.
- Ensure the safe and effective operation of radiation therapy equipment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and assess patient treatment plans.
- Provide care that emphasizes patient comfort and safety at all times.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and continuous education to stay informed of new practices and technologies.
- Valid BLS certification.
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
- ACLS certification.
- Experience with equipment such as Philips IR Table.
- Proven ability to document using the Meditech system.
- Neuro experience preferred with competency in procedures like Y90 and Prostate Embolism.
