Job SummaryCuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Cath Lab Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures utilizing fluoroscopy and Siemens equipment.
- Monitor and document procedural details in EPIC and McKesson systems while ensuring accurate and effective communication using SBAR.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and perform equipment setup for a wide range of cardiac procedures.
- Identify life-threatening arrhythmias and perform timely interventions, including the use of temporary pacemakers and vascular closure systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations, responding within 30 minutes to provide emergent care as required, including weekends.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes, participating actively in rapid response and isolation precautions when necessary.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab, with expertise in both diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Active registered or compact state nursing license, eligible for assignment at Swedish facilities.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure, particularly in a high-volume setting with advanced cardiac interventions.
- Proficient use of EPIC and Pyxis systems to document and manage patient care.
- Ability to participate in on-call duties, including weekends, with a 30-minute response commitment.
