Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Electrophysiology Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiac electrophysiology studies and ablations with precision and efficiency.
• Operate and maintain electrophysiology and radiology equipment including Philips and Siemens x-ray machines.
• Conduct patient preparation, monitoring, and post-procedure care with a focus on hemodynamic stability.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards, ensuring a sterile field in all procedures.
• Document patient data accurately using the Cerner charting system and communicate effectively with team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electrophysiology lab setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and CCI RCES/RCIS; ARRT and fluoro permit preferred.
• Experience with Cerner and proficiency in electrophysiology lab skills, including hemodynamic monitoring and EKG lead placement.
• Proven ability to handle complex equipment and perform procedures like device implants and lead extractions.
• Familiarity with 3D mapping technologies and various ultrasound systems.
• Possession of a DC license at the time of submission; pending licenses accepted with potential adjusted start dates.
