Director of Nursing (DON) - Now Hiring

A well-established skilled nursing facility in the Albany, NY area is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead and oversee all nursing operations.

Duties:

• Supervise and support all nursing staff within the facility

• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures

• Oversee recruitment, hiring, and retention of nursing staff

• Ensure appropriate staffing levels and ongoing staff competency

• Monitor nursing staff performance and conduct

• Maintain awareness of all clinical incidents and ensure proper follow-up

• Assess and support the health needs of all residents

Requirements:

• Current New York State RN license required

• Must have prior DON experience in Long-term care to be considered

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in long-term care

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
