Utility Foreman with Crew

We are seeking an experienced Utility Foreman with a full crew of operators and laborers to join our team in Virginia. As a Utility Foreman, you and your crew will play a key role in the installation of water, sewer, and storm drain systems on municipal, industrial, and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a crew of operators and laborers in the installation of underground utilities, including water, sewer, and storm drain systems.
• Interpret and implement project plans and specifications to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinate daily activities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Operate and oversee the use of heavy equipment as required for utility installation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and other team members to resolve issues and maintain project flow.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a foreman overseeing underground utility or water/wastewater plant work on municipal, industrial, or commercial sites.
• Strong knowledge of project plans, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Proficient in heavy equipment operations related to utility installation.
• Thorough understanding of OSHA safety regulations and best practices.
• Demonstrated leadership and crew management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with crew members and supervisors.
