Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift
Walor North America is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join its Maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility. Maintenance Technician - Second Shift
Walor North America is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join its Maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility. A successful candidate is a self-motivated problem-solver that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met.
What you will do
- Ensures all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and in good, safe working order
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on various manufacturing equipment. This includes mechanical and hydraulic forging presses up to 2500T, combustion furnaces, CNC saws, shot blast, and auxiliary equipment
- Perform necessary preventive maintenance in line with the maintenance schedule and procedures
- Maintain documentation of preventive maintenance, equipment repair, part usages and other projects
- Communication and documentation of daily breakdown and planned repairs
- Troubleshooting of complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshooting of complex electrical servo and drive systems
- Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately
- Other duties as assigned
What you will bring
- 2-3 years experience in a machine repair and troubleshooting environment
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical drive systems
- Basic mechanical, welding and cutting skills
- Should be capable of reading/interpreting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints/schematics
- Good problem solving skills and attention to quality/detail
- Have basic computer skills
- Meter usage and ability to complete measurements
- Understanding and adherence to LOTO and safe work practices

Work Environment
- Location-The Maintenance Technician role is based onsite at our Columbus facility
- Physical Demand-May be required to lift moderately heavy automotive components up to 15 pounds
- Schedule-Monday thru Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:15 PM, some overtime or weekends may be necessary
