Restorative Aide/CNA FT and PT

Job Description:

The Vistas at Bettendorf is seeking a compassionate and motivated Restorative Aide / CNA to join our long-term care team. This role focuses on supporting residents in maintaining or improving their physical abilities, independence, and quality of life through restorative nursing programs and daily care assistance. Every other weekend will be required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Carry out restorative nursing programs as directed (e.g., range of motion exercises, ambulation, transfer training, positioning)
• Encourage resident participation in therapy and independence-building activities
• Support fall prevention, skin integrity, and safety initiatives
• Work collaboratively with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Current CNA certification in the state of Iowa (required)
• Previous experience in long-term care or restorative nursing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and restorative programs accurately
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
