Job Summary:
As the Senior Accounting Manager you'll be responsible for the integrity of the company's financial reporting and accuracy. We are seeking a meticulous, high achieving professional with a proven track record of scaling accounting functions within high-growth environments. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will own the end-to-end month-end and year-end close cycles, manage the external audit, and ensure compliance across all tax and regulatory filings. You will be a strategic partner in financial modeling and projections, overseeing key functions including billing, AR/AP, payroll, and treasury. As a cornerstone of our leadership team, you will design and implement the evolving processes, internal controls and policies necessary to support our next phase of institutional growth.

- Own the end-to-end GAAP financial reporting process, including the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual statements and Board-level reporting packages.
- Act as the subject matter expert for ASC 606, overseeing the entire revenue lifecycle—from contract review and billing to collections and sales tax liability.
- Drive the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting, using data-driven modeling to provide business leaders with compelling financial insights.
- Lead year-end audits and ensure seamless statutory filings across multiple jurisdictions, maintaining rigorous internal controls and process documentation.
- Manage the "engine room" of the finance department, including processing and overseeing multi-state payroll, AP/AR, treasury, and trial balance integrity.
- Conduct technical accounting research to ensure the organization remains ahead of regulatory changes and industry best practices.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
What We Look For:
- Strategic Mindset: You can break down complex business problems and present concise, executive-level solutions.
- Technical Expert: You possess a deep knowledge of US GAAP including recurring revenue and multi-state payroll regulations.
- Intellectual Curiosity: You are able to think deeply and qualitatively about business problems, breaking down issues and presenting solutions.
- High-Growth Navigator: You are a self-starter who excels in fast-paced environments and can maintain order amidst rapid scaling.
- Trusted Advisor: You have the emotional intelligence to build relationships across all departments, influencing stakeholders at every level.
Required Experience:
- BS/BA in Accounting required; MSA/MBA or active CPA licensure strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of financial preparation experience, ideally within a high-growth SaaS or Technology firm.
- Proven expertise in ASC 606 Revenue Recognition and financial modeling.
- 3–5 years of FP&A experience combined with 2+ years of hands-on payroll accounting.
