Position summary: Responsible for Managing new equipment inventory and corporate runs.
General Purpose: Manage new capital equipment inventory, ensure we have sufficient stock, order when we need to and promote selling equipment in inventory longer than 1 year. Efficiently manage runs between branches and regions to move equipment on a timely basis. Support demo administrator and process.
Role qualifications:
- Work with VP Sales, COO and CFO to establish min / max of high-volume equipment and implement a program to maintain the inventory
- Be responsible for ordering equipment for rental fleet with the rental manager’s guidance.
- Work on programs or specials to customers to dispose of any New Truck Inventory over 1 year old
- Set up weekly and daily Corp runs to move equipment from 1 region or branch to another.
Position responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate new equipment levels in stock based on the Min-Max.
- Responsible for ordering new equipment for rental when requested.
- Responsible for ordering new attachment for rental/stock when requested.
- Responsible for ordering OEM battery/charger
- Prepare SRA sheets for all stock orders from manufacturers
- Prepare SRA sheets for rental orders from manufacturers when asked
- Resource new equipment for quick delivery from Manufacturers
- Participate in monthly inventory meetings.
- Manage and coordinate semi runs between branches
- Work with Inventory Coordinator on demo availability.
- Back up Demo Administrator when on vacation.
- Work with sales reps and provide information to CSG when looking for stock equipment for customer quoting.
- Assist in rental and new truck inventories as requested.
- Deletes old batteries when needed once Motive Power deems the battery as scrap
- Manage new inventory data in ERP.
- Assist building loads for factory inbound shipment.
Essential skills and experience:
- Associate’s degree in business, Bachelor’s Degree preferred (pertinent work experience in lieu of formal schooling considered).
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
- Management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Planning: ability to think ahead and plan over a one-to-two year time span
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Expert knowledge of industrial powered equipment and our industry
- Strong computer proficiency specially excel.
- Commitment to company vision and mission
Nonessential skills and experience:
- Certification in Lean business practices
- Experience in all aspects of our business
