We are seeking a creative, organized, and hands-on Floral & Potted Plants Manager to lead and grow our floral department. This role is responsible for ordering, merchandising, maintaining quality, and driving sales of fresh flowers and potted plants while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Order and manage inventory of fresh-cut flowers, bouquets, and potted plants
  
  
• Maintain proper care, watering, trimming, and rotation to ensure product freshness
  
  
• Create eye-catching seasonal displays and promotional features
  
  
• Manage shrink and maximize department profitability
  
  
• Price and merchandise product strategically
  
  
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with custom floral requests
  
  
• Coordinate holiday and event floral programs (Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Easter, etc.)
  
  
• Train and supervise floral team members (if applicable)
  
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe department
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous floral, greenhouse, nursery, or retail produce experience preferred
  
  
• Strong merchandising and visual presentation skills
  
  
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and work in refrigerated areas
  
  
• Detail-oriented with strong organization skills
  
  
• Self-motivated and able to manage time independently
  
  
• Weekend and holiday availability required
