Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Active Indiana state license or ability to obtain required license prior to start of assignment.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Outpatient physical therapy experience within the last 2 years is required.
• No new graduates. Minimum prior clinical experience as required by the client.
• Ability to implement treatment goals and interventions established by a supervising Physical Therapist.
• Experience with common outpatient modalities and equipment, including hot/cold packs, TENS, ultrasound, therapeutic exercise, gait training, and assistive device training.
• Demonstrated adherence to safety and infection control practices, including safe patient handling and materials handling.
• Ability to document patient progress and participate in team conferences.
• Preferred: experience with therapeutic pool, paraffin, fluidotherapy, air splints, or orthotic/prosthetic training.
