Bindery / Direct Mail Machine Operator

IMPORTANT ATTRIBUTES

Independent problem-solving skills.  Time management is very important.  In addition to meeting print deadlines, daily and weekly maintenance routines must be consistently followed.  Strong quality control skills and a focus on productivity and efficiency are critical.  A positive attitude and a patient approach are personality traits that will benefit the operator.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operation and maintenance of the finishing equipment (folders / stitcher / etc.).  Workflow deadlines are to be completed as scheduled.  Preventative maintenance will be done as time allow.
EXPERIENCE

Experience working for a printer in the finishing department would be helpful but is not required.  Also having a good mechanical background would be a plus.
