Medical Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Medical Assistant (MA) to join our healthcare team. This role supports providers in delivering efficient, high-quality patient care through a combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain and document vital signs
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments
• Administer medications and injections within scope of practice and licensure
• Maintain clean, stocked, and prepared exam rooms
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Support patient communication, education, and follow-up care coordination
• Assist with phone triage and patient inquiries (based on licensure and experience)
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned in accordance with licensure, including but not limited to patient triage, clinical assessment, and care coordination

Qualifications

• One of the following required: Certificate of completion from Medical Assistant (MA) program and/or current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certificate
• Prior clinical experience preferred but not required for strong candidates

· Starting at $20.50 per hour for MA based on experience and certification

· Starting at $22.50 per hour for CMA based on experience and licensure
