Job Description

A Registered Behavior Technician will be responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis services to clients in the home, school, or clinical settings under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Registered Behavior Technician positions available across the Brevard County area including but not limited to.. (Mims/Titusville, Cocoa/Merritt Island, Rockledge, Cape Canaveral/Satellite Beach, Viera/Melbourne, West Melbourne/Palm Bay, and Indian Harbour Beach/Melbourne Beach) and also now expanding into Orlando.
Education:
- High school (Required)
License:
- RBT certification by the BACB, in good standing (Required)
Language:
- English (Required)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 10hrs per week
- Must have at least 2 morning and/or afternoon timeframes available to work (at least 4hrs) between 8am-3pm
- Current and maintain RBT certificate (on file)
- Valid automobile insurance and registration (on file)
- Reliable means of transportation and a valid Florida Driver’s License (on file)
- Obtain and maintain current professional liability insurance (Biennial)
- Pass a criminal background check
- Maintain CPR certification (every 2 years)
- Maintain HIPAA compliance training (annual)
- Brevard Public Schools Contractor Badge (Preferred)
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Minimum of six (6) months experience working with children with Autism (ASD), intellectual disability, and/or related neuro-developmental disorders
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Strong documentation skill
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage workflow
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with team members at all levels
- Ability to adapt and effective manage change
- Ability to understand and adhere to company policies, procedures and practices
- Proactively seek out training for skills outside individual competency
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct, one-on-one behavior analytic services to clients
- Attend regular supervision sessions with assigned BCBA for each client
- Report changes in behavior unsuccessful programs directly to assigned BCBA supervisor for each client
- Strictly adhere to treatment plan designed by the BCBA for each individual client
- Report cancelled appointments directly to the supervising BCBA and the Business Administrator for each client
- Submit weekly progress notes for each client with what was covered during supervision, progress on goals, and behavior
- Maintain and keep track of individual schedule
