Position Overview:
As a Traveling Mental Health Therapist, you’ll deliver high-quality mental health services directly to residents in nursing and assisted living facilities. This role is ideal for clinicians who value autonomy, meaningful client relationships, and a flexible schedule. You’ll travel between designated facilities, providing therapy, assessments, and emotional support to help improve residents’ overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions with nursing home residents.
- Complete comprehensive mental health assessments and individualized treatment plans.
- Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed.
- Collaborate closely with facility staff, family members, and healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Travel between designated partner facilities according to a set weekly schedule.
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio license: LPCC, LPCC-S, LISW, LISW-S, LMFT (only).
- Experience working with older adults, dementia, depression, or anxiety preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel.
