As a Construction Superintendent, you’ll oversee daily site operations, coordinate subcontractors, materials and labor, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers while using modern construction management tools to support successful project delivery across commercial and residential projects.
Overview:
Oversee and manage construction projects from inception through completion, ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets, safety regulations, and quality standards. This role requires strong field leadership, organizational skills, technical knowledge, the ability to interpret construction documents, and manage site operations effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Manage daily on-site operations to ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets
• Schedule and supervise subcontractors and labor, providing guidance to maintain quality standards
• Utilize construction management software, including Procore, for project tracking and reporting
• Review schematics, drawings, and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of project specifications
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and site safety protocols
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and promptly address issues
• Maintain accurate project records, including daily reports, change orders, and documentation
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to keep projects moving forward
Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent (or in a similar supervisory role)
• Strong ability to interpret schematics and blueprints
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team collaboration and motivation
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Microsoft Project a plus
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software preferred
