Machinist- part time or per diem

We are seeking a Machinist- Part Time/per diem to join our team!

We are looking for someone who wants flexibility in their schedule as a supplemental job. We do not have the work load for full time so this would be the perfect opportunity for someone to come work as little as once a week on a day off or post retirement to pick up some work. It could be any day of the week, or a few days. We are very open to working with your schedule.

We do need some experience in being a machinist and setting up- not just an operator.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machine tools to produce precision parts
• Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects
• Set up and adjust programs using Milltronics conversational, M and G coding.

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
• Familiarity with machining, tools and equipment
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with Milltronics and Mazak machines preferred.

Requirements:

- Must be able to set up machines, adjust, and run machine in addition to operating.
