Mechanic ( Heavy Industrial Rollers )

This is a great temp. to hire opportunity with a Concord area manufacturing facility.

Duties will include:

• Disassembly and reassembly of bearing housings and internal roll components using air tools, hand tools, hydraulic presses and bearing pullers.

• Inspection of roll components and parts.

• Troubleshoot, install, align, dismantle, repair and maintain industrial machinery and mechanical equipment for improved reliability and performance.

• Help meet or exceed quality goals through a quality maintenance program.

• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies

*Position requires knowledge of basic hydraulics, pneumatics, fabrication, cutting, basic layout, blueprint reading, precision measurement, bearings, chains, sprockets, and troubleshooting techniques.

*Must have basic computer / data entry skills.

Shift: 1st shift, 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

2nd shift 2:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. to train on first shift then transition to 2nd once fully trained.

Pay scale: $23.00 Hr. +/- depending on experience .
