CNC Machinist -Premium Threading Experience Required

CNC Machinist – East Houston, TX

New Tech Global is hiring a CNC Machinist for a manufacturing client in East Houston.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines from start to finish
• Perform premium threading on a wide range of products and material types, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications
• Read and work from blueprints, verifying dimensions and tolerances
• Conduct dimensional inspections and maintain product traceability
• Adjust machine settings (speed, feed, tooling) as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machining issues independently
• Support process improvement initiatives with operations management
• Assist lead/supervisor and help train other machinists
• Step into lead responsibilities when required
• Complete required documentation and report non-conformances

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years CNC machining experience
• At least 3 years experience with FANUC controls
• Strong blueprint reading and machining knowledge
• Experience selecting tooling and completing setups independently
• Strong hands-on experience with premium threading and inspection of threaded connections
• Ability to use inspection and measurement tools accurately
• Capable of handling multiple setups and machining operations
• Strong problem-solving skills with minimal supervision

Shifts:

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
